Seeking New Webmaster
September 10 - MAFCA is currently looking for a volunteer to take over the position of Webmaster. This person must have general knowledge of web infrastructure as well as a background in HTML editing using applications such as Dreamweaver. Experience with PHP, CSS and SQL as well as other scripting languages along with SFTP will be helpful as well. Training with our current platform will be provided by our interim webmaster Rick Black.
If your love of the Model A extends into the digital world then we could use your help. Please contact Will Langford, Website Liaison at chaptercoordinator@mafca.com or directly at 405 812 8131 or any current Board Member if you have an interest in volunteering for this position.

2023 National Tour Photos
September 9 - The photos from the 2023 National Tour can now be accessed from the list of RECENT STORIES.

MAFCA Star Program
August 27 - The 2023 Free MAFCA membership form in our
Members Only area has been changed to identify the sponsoring member instead of chapter. When an application is received by the MAFCA office, a MAFCA Star decal will be sent to the sponsoring member.
The MAFCA Star Program is designed to reward our members who enlist new members for the club. It applies to all New Members, both free and paid. We are hoping that this small token will stimulate existing members to bring new members to the club. -- Jay McCord, Membership Director

MAFCA Login Credentials
July 22 - There are two places where a MAFCA member needs to enter credentials. The first is on the website to access the MEMBERS ONLY area. You need a username and password to access the MEMBERS ONLY area, but IT'S THE SAME FOR EVERY MEMBER. The credentials are published on page 1 of every Restorer Magazine, so look there if you're accessing this area for the first time. The username for this area will ALWAYS be the same. The password will change each January. To see where the credentials are located on Page 1,
The other place where you'll need credentials is to access the Restorer Digital Edition if you've signed up for it. Access requires your email address for USERNAME and a 6-digit membership number (add a leading zero if needed) for the password. For more info on Restorer Digital Edition, click Here.

Reading the Digital Restorer
July 17 - Ever wish you could zoom in on the text while reading the Digital Restorer on your computer? Well, you can!
Just double-click on any page and 3 zoom controls will appear on the lower right side of the screen. The + will zoom in; the - will zoom out. And the double-sided arrow will exit the zoom mode. This will work on any Mac or Windows computer.

MAFFI Museum Expansion
July 14 - The Model A Ford Foundation (MAFFI) museum at the Gilmore Auto Museum complex in Hickory Corners Michigan is planning an expansion of the existing Model A museum. The museum opened in 2013 and is filled to the brim with Model A vehicles, exhibits, and interactive displays. More room is needed for additional vehicles and exhibits.
MAFFI recently released a YouTube video showing what is there now and the plans to double the existing museum space in the next 2 years. To view that video, Click Here.

MAFFI's Bus Project
July 10 - It's been a while since we had an update on the MAFFI Bus Restoration Project. The June 2023 update details the progress that's been made during the last 12 months.
Read all about it (or browse the back issues) on the MAFFI Bus Project Page.

Chapter Information Pages Need Updates
June 22 - On our CHAPTERS pages, each MAFCA chapter has their contact information with the date of the last update. This information gives prospective new chapter members a way of contacting you. Some of that information hasn't been updated in quite some time.
It would be appreciated if each chapter would look at their information and fill out an update form if any changes are needed. A link to that form is near the top of every state's Chapter page.
