Vehicle and Era Fashion judging are a major part of MAFCA Model A activities. Over the years, many members and industry experts have contributed to the base of knowledge about Model A vehicles and the fashions of the late 1920's to early 1930's.
With collaboration from MARC, the Model A Restorer's Club, MAFCA has published a set of Model A Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards that are used in each MAFCA-sponsored meet as guidelines in judging our cars. Over the years, "the Standards" are constantly reviewed and updated by both club's Judging Standards Committees. Totally revised, Version 4 was released in December 2016 and is now available online in the MAFCA STORE or from MAFCA headquarters. Details are also in the latest Restorer magazine. |
